Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baton Rouge, LA, responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion. What you'll do: Manage 2-3 concurrent commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors, keeping communication proactive and clear Build and maintain project schedules; remove barriers for clean handoffs Own project budgets: track costs, manage change orders, and protect margin without compromising relationships Lead preconstruction coordination, RFIs, submittals, and weekly owner meetings Document everything using Sage, Procore/Forma, and Bluebeam; you'll be expected to work these systems well Mentor and support field superintendents; be the bridge between the office and the job sites Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction (ground-up and tenant buildout) Hardworking, team-player, humble, diligent, always learning Strong understanding of construction documents, scopes of work, and subcontract management Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, MEP, and architectural drawings Experience with financial reporting, cost-to-complete forecasting, and change order management Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Sage, or similar); tech-comfortable Clear written and verbal communication with owners, subs, and your team alike #J-18808-Ljbffr Grand Construction Company
