Bonus Amount: 20,000 Overview Employment Type: Full Time Shift: Evenings Hours: 10-hour shifts - 1:00pm to 11:30pm Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center - Mesquite, TX Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options Employer 401K options Tuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance options Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities P repare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the CT table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have O perate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times M onitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure A ssist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures A ccountable for the quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images R esponsible for maintaining radiologic supplies, making sure the equipment is in good operating order, and following protocols regarding infection control and hygiene P articipate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities and assist in maintaining Performance Improvement Programs (PIP) M aintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license Qualifications Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required Current BCLS (AHA). Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
