Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: All shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 13
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of prior ICU experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current valid unrestricted Professional Nursing License (RN)
• Certifications required:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (must be completed within six (6) months of hire)
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) (must be completed within six (6) months of hire)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS (must be completed within six (6) months of hire)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Perform a variety of responsible nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge.
• Work independently in completing nursing assignments.
• Respond to post-operative recovery needs for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
• COVID & FLU exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form.
• Housing application must be submitted two weeks prior to start.
