Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$2584.00/week - Job Summary: The Cardiac Cath Lab RN performs specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and EP procedures. This role requires a highly skilled and adaptable professional to support complex cardiovascular interventions in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels, and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures. Collaborate with physicians and technical staff to ensure procedure success and patient safety. Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic health records using Epic system. Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards. Maintain current certifications and licensing, including BLS, ACLS, and radiation badges. Qualifications: Hold a valid SC RN license or Compact license before start date. Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in cath lab or cardiovascular critical care. Demonstrate proficiency in EP and cardiac catheterization procedures. Hold current BLS and ACLS certification. Must have radiation safety training and badge. Ability to work rotating day shifts and adapt to procedural schedules.
