The Chemical Compounder plays a vital role in mixing and preparing chemical compounds within a small team environment. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role involves strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while handling hazardous materials during standard working hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform precise chemical mixing and formulation
- Conduct quality testing to ensure product standards
- Maintain strict safety compliance when handling hazardous materials
- Manage inventory of chemicals and supplies
- Document processes and maintain accurate records
- Monitor production processes for consistency and safety
- Handle materials safely and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in chemical compounding
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of chemical formulation and laboratory techniques
- Experience with safety compliance and quality control
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team
- Proficient in material handling
