Laboratory Technician

Immediate opening for a Laboratory Technician located in Chanhassen, MN (Onsite). Details for the position are as follows: Job Description: Conducts all R&D laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc. Assists in maintaining project timelines. Provides support for various projects assigned by Engineers and/or Supervisor. Employs basic problem-solving skill sets to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates. Collects and organizes data in a coherent format. Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcomes. Expected to train other Technicians regarding equipment operation and/or test procedures. Ability to perform routine tests and operate application equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to identify abnormalities in collected data and/or project work. May take on equipment ownership and be responsible for maintaining safe operation of the assigned equipment. Intra-departmental submission of presentations and/or reports. Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40hrs./week Pay Rate: $20 – 25/Hour Qualifications: Degree/Years of Experience Required: High School Diploma/GED, with 1+ Years of Industry Laboratory Experience Bachelor Degree , Preferred (Discipline/Lab Courses in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, etc.) Comfortable handling and working with chemicals Able to wear PPE and comply with Lab Safety protocols Analytical Chemistry technique, A Plus!
