Description - Your Role

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other disciplines-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate findings for reliability, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection procedures and ensure samples are accurately prepared for laboratory investigations.
• Document all laboratory processes diligently, share knowledge with new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining high-quality lab standards.
• Uphold a safe, sanitized workspace while conforming to regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification, and be prepared for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within a year of starting the position.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment period.
