• Meticulously assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection processes and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training for new staff members or students, and ensure adherence to laboratory quality standards.
• Sustain a safe and hygienic work environment while meeting regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification as a condition of employment.
