Job Title: Clinical Testing Senior Lab Technician (Hair Color)

The Clinical Testing Senior Lab Technician (hair color) position will be primarily focused on formulation, product testing and in-vitro hair testing in our hair color lab. All work must be executed in a scientifically sound, safe, and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Executes work with excellence with minimal daily supervision.
• Clarifies for understanding & prioritization and proactively updates supervisor on status and flags issues / help required.
• Generates and records data on repetitive and routine experiments with excellence.
• Proficient in calibration, use and maintenance of standard lab / pilot plant equipment.
• Assists on making routine batches following defined protocols and routine equipment.
• Conducts routine analysis on stability batches.
• Conducts physical tests on batch samples vs defined specifications.
• Develops knowledge of Company culture, resources, processes etc.
• Competent in standard lab / pilot plant procedures & policies.
• Builds understanding of category.

Qualifications

Associate of Science and/or Technology Degree required. 2+ years of Laboratory experience in test methods, research & development and/or quality assurance. Proficiency with Word and Excel. Experience with technical writing in a scientific field. Effective time management skills. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day). Experience in operation of scientific instruments and applicable software. Willing and able to do some repetitive tasks. Follow Good Laboratory Practices and other regulations, where applicable. Maintain a clean and organized lab area. Ability to follow safe lab practices.

Pay Range:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.65 to $27.00. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
