RN - MedSurg

Registered Nurse - MedSurg Ortho/Neuro

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

As a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg Ortho/Neuro unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery.
• Participate in procedures and provide post-operative care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of arrhythmias and fatal rhythm recognition.
