Key Qualifications:

• Current state certification or licensure in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working with students with varying abilities and disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, flexibility, and commitment to inclusive education practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs and abilities
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning styles and challenges within the classroom
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment
• Progress monitor student achievement and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behaviors, and communications with families
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaborations as required
• Foster a safe, respectful, and positive classroom culture that encourages student growth and independence
