Overview
Occupational Therapist, General—in Puyallup, Washington. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting November 23, 2026 for a 13-week period in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities
- Assess residents to determine occupational therapy needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans aligned with residents’ functional goals
- Provide direct therapy focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive rehabilitation as appropriate
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes in the medical record; update plans as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Educate residents and caregivers on home programs and safety strategies to support independence

- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Availability to commit to a 13-week assignment with 35 guaranteed hours per week
- Proficiency with standard rehabilitation documentation systems
