Specialty: Med-Surg / Telemetry RN Contract: 13 Weeks Requirements: ✅ Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience ✅ First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of inpatient/trauma hospital experience ✅ BLS & NIHSS required Patient Population: General Medicine Cardiology Required Skills: Tracheostomy care Chest tube management Peripheral IV starts Blood administration NG tube insertion & feeding PEG tube care & feeding Heparin & Insulin drips Unit Details: 25-bed unit (transitioning to 16 beds after renovations) Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–6 LPN support partnered with RNs Floating to mixed-acuity units based on staffing and census Technology: EMR: Cerner IV Pumps: Plum ICU Medical Medication System: Omnicell Monitors: Philips Additional Systems: TeleTracking & STAR Highlights: No on-call requirement Weekend rotation as needed Free employee parking Galaxy Blue scrubs Block scheduling not guaranteed Supportive team environment with traveler-friendly orientation Interested?
