Kappa Kappa Gamma, Gamma Nu Chapter | University of Arkansas – Fayetteville, AR

The Gamma Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma is seeking a full-time, live-in House Director to provide leadership, hospitality, and day-to-day oversight of the chapter house.

The ideal candidate is a mature, professional, organized, and approachable individual who enjoys working with college-aged women and creating a welcoming, well-managed home environment.

The House Director serves as the official hostess and on-site manager of the Gamma Nu chapter facility, helping ensure the chapter house remains safe, welcoming, organized, and well maintained for members, staff, and guests.

Working closely with the House Board, Property Manager, Chapter President, Facilities Director, kitchen staff, and outside vendors, the House Director provides consistent on-site leadership and communication while supporting the daily operations of the chapter house.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Property Manager to coordinate all required inspections, preventative maintenance, and scheduled servicing of building systems and equipment.
• Ensure a safe and productive environment for chapter members, staff and guests.
• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including identifying maintenance concerns, troubleshooting minor issues, coordinating repairs with approved vendors, monitoring project completion, and maintaining records and service documentation.
• Communicating facility needs, repairs, and concerns to the Property Manager, House Board, Facilities Chair(s) Design Chair(s).
• Supporting chapter leadership with house operations, policies, and expectations.
• Serving as the official hostess for members, parents, alumnae, guests, and special events.
• Helping ensure chapter house policies, safety procedures, and facility expectations are followed.
• Maintaining open and professional communication among chapter members, staff, advisors, and the House Board.
• Providing a steady adult presence and helping foster a positive, respectful atmosphere within the house.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License, car and automobile insurance required.
• Willingness to live in a smoke, pet, alcohol and gun-free facility.
• Strong work ethic with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, alumnae, employees, contractors, and board members.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Google programs, and digital communication and have a willingness to learn other digital programs.
• High school diploma required; college education preferred.
• Previous House Director, Greek life experience, Hospitality Management or Property Management preferred.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
