American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an academic medical center's Neuro MRI unit, requiring ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience.

Work in the MRI Neuro unit of an academic medical center clinic

Perform Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI procedures

Mon-Fri schedule with 8-hour shifts, no call, no overnights, and no holidays

Day shift options include 6:30AM-3PM or 8:30AM-5PM, and evening shift 2PM-10:30PM with no rotation required between shifts

13-week assignment

Uses Epic EMR for charting

ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required

BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)

Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program

Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience as a staff tech required, or 3 total travel assignments

Epic EMR experience required

Active MR license required if applicable

Must demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a high acuity academic medical center environment

Produce high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental imaging standards

Maintain competence across a variety of MRI equipment and technology

Practice safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients

Foster teamwork through effective communication

Must be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced academic medical center

COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration

Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
