Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough virtual assessments and evaluations, utilizing telehealth tools to ascertain the mental health needs of students. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals and educational needs. Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing evidence-based techniques tailored to various age groups. Collaborate closely with educational staff, including teachers and counselors, to create a cohesive support system for students. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards within a remote framework. Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health counseling to continually enhance the efficacy of your practice. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on students, often navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other mental health disorders that affect their academic performance and personal development. You will play a critical role in building resilience and providing coping strategies that facilitate their success both inside and outside the classroom. Qualifications Current and valid LICSW license in the state of Washington. A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a strong focus on school-based settings preferred. Deep understanding of various mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and applicable evidence-based practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for engaging effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and a strong ability to adapt to virtual service delivery. A compassionate client-care approach with the ability to build rapport quickly. Preferred Experience Experience working within school systems or with a child and adolescent client population. Familiarity with IEP processes and the ability to collaborate with educational teams. Previous experience employing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities that resonate with younger populations. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
