Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine patients’ mental health statuses and needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Providing psychotherapy through various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring they are tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards to ensure confidentiality and effective care. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies. Engaging in regular case conferences and peer consultations to share insights and enhance the resolution of complex cases. Educating clients and their families on mental health topics, providing information about treatment options and available community resources. Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a broad range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will help guide them through their recovery journeys, fostering resilience and enhancing their quality of life. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A current state-issued license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). A minimum of two years of clinical experience focused on providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations. Strong proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a particular emphasis on empathetic listening. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to respond to patient needs dynamically. Ability to work effectively within a remote team, fostering collaboration and support. Preferred Experience Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering remote therapy sessions. Prior involvement in community mental health initiatives or programs. Knowledge in addressing substance use issues within a mental health framework. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
