Senior Data Architect

*Description*

The Data Architect role goes beyond traditional data architecture. This individual operates with a strong productoriented mindset, shaping scalable, trusted, and businessaligned data capabilities that enable AI, analytics, operational intelligence, and customerfacing digital solutions.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering, analytics, and digital product teams to define enterprise data strategies across supply chain, transportation, commercial technology, and customer platforms. The focus is on architecture, strategy, and enablement, not handson engineering.
This position is critical to enabling datadriven innovation across Sysco's digital ecosystem, including customer platforms, routing and transportation systems, merchandising analytics, and enterprise operational platforms.

*Experience with orchestration, transformation, and modeling frameworks such as Airflow and dbt.
*Experience supporting streaming and real-time operational architectures using Kafka, Pub/Sub, Spark, or Flink.
*Background supporting large-scale operational, logistics, retail, distribution, or supply chain environments preferred.

*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $95.00 - $120.00/hr.
