Randstad Staffing is hiring for a CNC Waterjet Operator in Bloomington, MN for a nationally recognized manufacturing business. This role ensures all equipment and processing areas are maintained in a safe, clean condititon while veritifying that finished products meet struct qualtiy control standards.

Qualifications & Requirements 

Minimum Requirements 

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of machine operation experience. 

• Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. 

• Core Competencies: 

  • Basic math skills.

  • Reading and writing literacy. 

  • Proficiency with handheld measuring tools. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous warehouse experience, particularly in the metals industry. 

• Prior forklift experience and operation. 

• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Processing 

• Set up, operate, and maintain processing machinery, overhead cranes, forklifts, and  material handling equipment. 
• Pull, inspect, and verify raw materials prior to processing according to work order  specifications. 
• Execute setups safely according to written setup notes and customer job orders. 

Quality Control & Inspection 

• Conduct regular quality checks during machine operation to ensure accurate  functionality and output. 
• Verify products against setup note specifications and record sampling plan  measurements. 
• Operate weighing scales and accurately log inspection measurements. 
• Use and maintain issued handheld measuring tools in proper working conditions.
• Identify, record, and segregate scrap and non-conforming material. 

Data Management & Communication 

• Input and delete material identification tags by written work instructions.
• Complete production logs and reconcile yield/productivity data. 
• Provide direct feedback regarding machine efficiency and product quality. 
• Communicate with sales representatives regarding order changes, updates, or clarifications.
