Medical AssistantImmediate contract position available for our physician practice group in Riverhead, NY. Note: Experience with Family Medicine and specialties including Cardiology and Urology a plus!Pay Rate: $23.00/hr Work Schedule:8:00am - 4:00pm, 8:30-4:30, 9am-5pm (Monday to Friday)11am-7pm, occasionally/if needed and with noticeResponsibilities:Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical recordMedical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam roomsAssist with front desk responsibilities, as neededQualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant ProgramBLS CertificationBe able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentEPIC system experience a plus
