Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,611 per week

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Location: Rochester, New York Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 hours (12‑hour shifts) Shift: 12‑hour shifts, flexible (5×8 hr days; 5‑7 call shifts over 7 weeks including weekend call) Job Overview The role requires demonstrating competence in selecting exposure factors, positioning, and consistently producing radiologic images of diagnostic quality. The technologist will work flexibly and collaboratively with the interventional radiology team to support patient rights and satisfaction during a travel assignment. Responsibilities Instruct and prepare patients for examinations and assist the Radiologist during procedures. Display operational competence of all equipment and report malfunctions to the manager or lead. Complete assigned procedures in a timely manner while assisting colleagues with room turnover and other tasks. Maintain medication security by ensuring only authorized personnel have access. Demonstrate competency in providing healthcare services to patients of all age groups. Participate in hospital performance improvement activities when warranted. Answer technical inquiries from physicians or hospital personnel while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Required Experience, Certifications, Licensure Two (2) years of experience in Radiologic Technology. New York State License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
