The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting enterprise compliance initiatives, with a focus on strengthening regulatory processes, governance frameworks, and overall compliance strategy. This role requires broad exposure across compliance, operations, legal, risk, and executive leadership, and key responsibilities include overseeing compliance programs, managing regulatory matters, and identifying compliance trends and operational risks. The VP will also be tasked with enhancing governance frameworks, driving process improvements, and leading a team to foster a culture of accountability and ethical conduct. Ideal candidates for the VP, Compliance role at the company will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in life insurance and/or annuity compliance, a strong understanding of insurance regulatory frameworks, and experience in managing regulatory inquiries and examinations. The role demands the ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and possess strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Experience in fast-paced, highly regulated insurance environments is essential, as is the ability to mentor staff and support enterprise risk management and broader compliance strategy initiatives.
