Medical Director PositionEventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults who reside in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants and in-house Support Staff.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe main focus will be Medical Director responsibilities at SNFs with responsibility of H&Ps and regulatory visits, and collaborative partnering with other Events WholeHealth doctors for oversight visits at all the ALFs in your territory with a focused intent on MD exposure, meeting with RCC and Admin, being at facility when NP/PA is rounding and doing oversight visits that guide quality of care for our extenders while meeting oversight visit RVUs expectations.Supervise all NPs in your region, continue to create systems, work with facility and providers to bring together a systems based approach at facilities.Monthly Primary Care Conference CallsAttending QA meetings. and OR, be attending physician only making rounds and seeing families as needed.Regulatory visits (MD responsible for every other 60 day regulatory visit. NP sees every 30 days x 2)Every SNF has a full-time NP to manage all acutes, discharges and tuck ins and provide regular follow ups for your plan of care.Qualifications/EducationLicensed MD or DO3 years in Long Term Care /Skilled Nursing Facility settingAMDA Certified a plus but not mandatoryMedical Directorship a PlusStrong leadership qualitiesStrong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAbout Eventus WholeHealth: Eventus WholeHealth was founded in 2014 to provide physician-led healthcare services for residents and patients of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
