Athletics Coach Key Responsibilities As an Elite Guide, your responsibility is to develop Austin-based student‑athletes into high‑performing individuals and emerging leaders by converting elite competitive discipline into everyday motivation, life‑skills instruction, and rigorous sports training within a high‑expectation school setting. Take ownership of daily student motivation by tracking progress, identifying obstacles, and guiding students toward defined academic and personal objectives. Facilitate high‑energy morning assemblies that establish a purposeful, competitive mindset for the day ahead. Conduct life‑skills sessions that instill resilience, leadership, accountability, and consistency through storytelling, guided reflection, and engaged student involvement. Execute structured afternoon sports training where drills, competitive practice, and performance standards reinforce perseverance, teamwork, and excellence.
