Job Title: Part-Time Legal Secretary / Paralegal (Civil Litigation & Real Estate)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, flexible, and experienced Part-Time Legal Secretary / Paralegal to join our team. This in-office position requires 5 years of experience in Civil Litigation , specifically with a focus on Real Estate . The role is scheduled for 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday , and requires adaptability to meet the changing demands of a busy legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management & Filing: Type and manage electronic court filings via Odyssey, Peach Court, and PACER .
Docketing & Calendaring: Manage the master calendar, track critical deadlines, and provide weekly proactive updates to the attorney regarding upcoming due dates.
Legal Research: Conduct reliable legal research using LexisNexis .
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate files and handle daily administrative tasks using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary.
Proven background in Civil Litigation and Real Estate law .
Advanced proficiency in Odyssey, Peach Court, PACER, and LexisNexis .
Strong mastery of Microsoft Office and calendar management using outlook.
Excellent organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and a flexible mindset.
