Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and security throughout procedures, communicating each step with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver outstanding diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging apparatus, addressing any equipment issues promptly
• Maintain accurate records of procedures within the electronic medical record system
• Stay up-to-date with developments in ultrasound imaging methodologies and industry standards

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferable
