Job Description Represent clients in sophisticated civil litigation matters from inception through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies. Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review, and depositions. Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial. Appear in court for hearings, motions, and other proceedings. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategy while managing your own caseload. Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical legal guidance. Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and trial preparation. Continue developing courtroom advocacy and trial skills under experienced mentorship. Qualifications Active New Mexico Bar license required. 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience drafting motions and litigation pleadings. Deposition and courtroom experience is highly valued. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Self‑motivated with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset. Experience with complex commercial, business, personal injury, or wrongful death litigation is a plus.
