Direct Care Worker

Job Summary All American Home Care is actively seeking an experienced DCW to join our team in the West Mifflin area. Schedule Time: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Position Overview Provides consumer care services which entail personal care, light housekeeping or companion services to the consumer's home environment including assistance with the activities of daily living, maintaining a clean and safe environment, meal preparation and laundry, sitter and other related duties and assignments. Primary Responsibilities Performs or assists consumer with activities of daily living as prescribed in the plan of care, including but not limited to: hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing. Treats each person as an individual with respect and dignity. Respects the rights of all consumers including their right to confidentiality and autonomy. Maintains the home in the optimum state of cleanliness and safety including but not limited to: light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, dusting, washing floors, making beds, doing dishes, etc.).
