Business Solutions Analyst (Atlassian Administrator)

Job Title

2 YEAR BASE TERM. PREFER ABILITY TO WORK ONSITE IN SACRAMENTO, CA AREA.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
• Possess a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
• Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience performing business analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and supporting the design and implementation of business solutions. At least two (2) years of that experience must have been in a lead or consultative capacity, guiding process improvement initiatives and aligning business needs with solution strategies.
• Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience supporting IT solution development, including conducting business and technical gap analyses, contributing to transition planning toward target-state architectures, and aligning business needs with IT capabilities. At least two (2) years of that experience must have involved collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to define or support enterprise policies related to privacy, security, development standards, and IT governance.
• Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in technical writing within an IT environment, including documenting current ("as is") and future-state ("to-be") enterprise architecture. Experience must include capturing business units, key processes, and applying various modeling techniques to support solution planning, stakeholder communication, and organizational change initiatives.
• Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience as an administrative-level user of Atlassian tools, including but not limited to Jira Align, Jira Software, and Confluence. Experience must include configuring workflows, managing user permissions, customizing dashboards and reports, and supporting teams in leveraging Atlassian tools to improve collaboration, transparency, and delivery outcomes.

Desirable Qualifications

• Three (3) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in facilitating complex discussions across diverse stakeholder groups, resolving conflicting priorities, and building consensus to drive solution adoption and organizational alignment.
• Three (3) years Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience displaying the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable deliverables, and ensuring solutions are both technically feasible and business relevant.
• Experience designing and implementing advanced configurations in Atlassian tools (e.g., custom workflows, automation rules, permission schemes, and integrating Atlassian products with other enterprise systems using APIs or third-party connectors to support end-to-end business processes.
• Proficient in analyzing business data and creating visualizations or dashboards using tools such as Atlassian Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau. Skilled in structuring data models and queries (e.g. JQL, SQL) to support performance tracking, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences, foster collaboration in cross-functional teams, mentor and develop staff, and navigate complex challenges with adaptability, strategic thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset.
