Quality Assurance ManagerAt Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility (LBTCF) in beautiful Burien, Washington, our team works to serve youth ages 13 to 17 who have co-occurring intellectual and developmental disabilities. Facility staff work alongside youth, empowering them to learn self-care skills so that they can thrive. Supported by Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Washington State Department of Children Youth and Families, Washington State Health Care Authority, MultiCare and Seattle Children's Hospital, this voluntary facility currently serves up to 12 youth. The property was designed with youth in mind and features accessible spaces for on-site educational services and therapies, and beautiful outdoor spaces. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. You will be a member of the Lake Burien management team and will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and performance improvement strategies for Lake Burien's residential and transitional programs. These efforts are designed to improve outcomes for clients, including quality of care, quality of life, and choice in services and supports. You'll analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and use professional expertise and knowledge to influence program practices and operational decisions. Through these activities, you will provide transparency and visibility into program performance and promote accountability for quality outcomes across services supporting more than 100 staff. This role has broad responsibility for the facility's quality assurance program, ensuring that client services, program practices, staff training, and professional standards meet applicable requirements. You'll work collaboratively with facility leadership to monitor and maintain compliance with federal regulations, incident management requirements, client rights, accreditation standards, and other applicable mandates. You will also provide oversight and supervision of the Management Analyst 5.Some of What You'll DoAlign Quality Management System (QMS) & Quality Assurance (QA) strategies with organizational goals and priorities by embedding quality objectives into the broader strategic planning process, adapting frameworks to evolving regulations, and regularly benchmarking performance against industry standards.Leverage advanced analytics to monitor trends, evaluate satisfaction levels, and identify areas for improvement by utilizing diverse tools such as surveys, focus groups, and real-time data collection systems. Translate insights into actionable strategies through collaboration, strengthening stakeholder relationships and consistently surpassing expectations.Establish a well-documented, adaptable framework for quality assurance that aligns with organizational goals and industry benchmarks. Regularly review and update policies to reflect evolving regulatory requirements, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure consistent compliance across all departments, driving measurable outcomes and operational excellence.Ensure comprehensive compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards by systematically integrating federal, state, and local guidelines into all programs and services, while continuously monitoring for changes to maintain alignment with industry best practices.Proactively conduct internal audits, mock inspections, and data analysis to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities, ensure compliance with regulations, and prepare teams for external reviews to maintain high standards and operational excellence.Establish transparent communication methods to engage leadership, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring risk mitigation efforts, compliance updates, and quality goals are clearly communicated and collaboratively addressed.What We're Looking forA bachelor's degree or advanced degree in social sciences, public health, health sciences, human services, behavioral sciences or a related field; ANDA minimum of five years of professional experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ANDA minimum of two years' work experience demonstrated in quality assurance and quality improvement in a social service setting.Additional experience may be substituted year-for-year in place of a degree.
