Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, with the Physical Therapist primarily working in the clients' homes. The nature of home care requires adaptability and a compassionate approach, as you will be providing therapy in diverse settings that reflect patients' living environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their physical capabilities, create individualized therapy plans, and determine appropriate treatment interventions.
• Design and implement customized rehabilitation programs effective in improving strength, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to address residents' specific physical limitations.
• Keep detailed records of clients' progress, ensuring adjustments to treatment plans are made based on observed performance and evolving needs.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to deliver integrated care solutions.
• Educate clients and their families about effective home exercise programs and strategies to maintain and enhance physical health outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay informed on regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to all state and federal guidelines as well as professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vital Motion, you will primarily work with a diverse population, focusing on elderly clients and individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Empathy and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will guide patients through emotionally and physically challenging rehabilitation experiences. Qualifications

• Current and valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate degree.
• Proficient understanding of musculoskeletal disorders, rehabilitation techniques, and standard assessment protocols.
• Strong communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with clients and their families, as well as collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple clients' care efficiently and ensure appropriate treatment documentation.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in continuing education opportunities to stay updated on the latest practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous hands-on experience in a skilled nursing facility or direct work with geriatric populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This highly rewarding role offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
