- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in cooperation with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
- Instructing patients and families on prevention, wellness, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your professional scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
- Collaborating across interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, seamless patient care
- Maintaining meticulous documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Nebraska
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialism
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical insight coupled with a compassionate bedside approach
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
