Account Management/Inside Sales Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our mid-west sales team and their customers. This role involves interacting with customers to provide information on products and services, collecting and entering orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely communication and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
• Collect and enter orders for products.
• Field customer questions and complaints, forwarding issues to the appropriate specialist or staff when necessary.
• Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
• Maintain customer accounts.
• Provide timely communications to all internal departments and external customers.
• Manage and provide solutions to customer inquiries.
• Initiate and facilitate the customer complaint process.
• Process returns and issue credits in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing to verify requirements are met.
• Manage order backlog to avoid stockouts.
• Track and manage customer forecasts.
• Update system with all relevant information collected during customer service activities, including new customer details.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of customer service experience, ideally from a packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with ERP systems, with a preference for Macola, but any ERP experience will suffice.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in account management and building customer relationships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or distribution companies is ideal.
• Recent graduates with a bachelor's degree and customer-facing experience in environments such as restaurants, coffee shops, or bars are also considered.

Work Environment

This position is based in Cleveland and will require onsite presence during the training period of six months. After successful completion of training, a hybrid work arrangement may be offered. The company prides itself on maintaining strong relationships and a family-oriented culture.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
