Behavioral Health Therapist Description SALARY: $24.01 (Exact salary calculation is made based on education, and experience) HOURS: 1st Shift 8:30AM-5:00PM and 1 evening shift 10:30AM-7:00PM Position Overview Performs clinical assessment and diagnosis Performs individual psychotherapy, addictions counseling or family intervention Consultation and coordination of services with team members Treatment planning and staffing Manages caseload consisting of adults and youth with behavioral health and/or substance use diagnosis. Qualifications Required—Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or marriage and family therapy and experience in addictions treatment. Preferred—State of Illinois Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Preferred—Knowledge/experience with dual (mental health and addictions) disorders.
