Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule
Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
Every other holiday and every other weekend.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Normal

Requirements
- Current nursing license
- Experience in Medsurg nursing
- Experience with PCU-level care is preferred
- Basic knowledge of EMR systems

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care to a diverse patient population in a blended Medsurg unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established guidelines.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and manage patient intake/output effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage in shared decision-making and participate in unit committees and initiatives.

Compliance / Notes
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Orientation and training are provided for staff.
- Background checks and drug screening are required prior to employment.
