\nLocation: Merrilville/ Gary, IN 46402
\nDuration: 3+ month assignment with the possible extension
\n \nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking experienced Inpatient Pharmacists to provide interim coverage at a hospital with an average daily census of approximately 300 patients. Candidates must have recent inpatient pharmacy experience, an active Indiana pharmacist license, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
\n \nKey Responsibilities

- Perform inpatient pharmacy duties to support safe and effective medication use. \n
- Review and process medication orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established pharmacy protocols. \n
- Support medication dispensing, verification, and related pharmacy operations. \n
- Participate in sterile compounding activities as required. \n
- Utilize pharmacy systems and automated dispensing technologies to support daily operations. \n
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. \n
- Provide pharmacy support to specialty areas, including neuroscience and oncology, as needed. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and medication safety standards. \n
Required Qualifications

- Active Indiana pharmacist license. \n
- Recent experience working as an Inpatient Pharmacist in a hospital setting. \n
- Experience with sterile compounding. \n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. \n
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. \n
- Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment. \n
