Role Overview Vishay Centerline in Hudson, Massachusetts is seeking an Inspection Operator for a first‑shift, on‑site position. The role requires an inspector with a keen eye for detail to monitor product quality at various points in the production process and to be cross‑trained on precision finishing machines. Shift: 1pm – 9:30pm (split shift). 8‑hour shift. Responsibilities Inspect materials before, during, and after the production process using high‑ and low‑powered microscopes, micrometers, and calipers. Clean and pack parts. Populate the Yield Analysis Board. Document findings and maintain records. Maintain a clean work area and orderly equipment. Communicate with machine operators and management regularly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred. Excellent hand‑eye coordination and finger dexterity (required). Experience handling small and fragile parts. Continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail. Self‑motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and teamwork.
