RN - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical care experience Strong communication skills Adaptability to change Description:This position offers guaranteed hours of 48 per week.The unit has 25 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.Staffing includes a charge nurse and unit secretary from 7 AM to 11 PM, with no tech support available.Types of equipment used include Alaris pumps and GE monitors.The documentation system utilized is MediTech.Staffing is through self-scheduling, with a requirement to work every third weekend.The floating policy allows for floating to telemetry only to take patients; other areas may require help or serve as a resource.Patient experience requirements include AIDET.Advanced skills in neuro and trauma care are a plus.Procedures performed on the unit include open heart recovery, bedside cardioversions, bronchoscopies, CRRT, and Impella management.The dress code requires scrubs in royal blue.The unit is working towards a distinction award and is in the process of achieving excellence recognition.A strong collaborative teamwork environment is emphasized. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
