Welder - 2nd Shift

WelderDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring welder workers for a power distribution equipment manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you’ll help fabricate high-quality aluminum components while supporting a safe, team-focused production environment. Read below for more information!Perform TIG welding on aluminum components according to specifications and quality standardsClean, prepare, and inspect materials prior to weldingSet up and adjust welding equipment, including amperage, gas flow, and torch selectionRead and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, job orders, and SOPsInspect finished welds to identify and correct defects or inconsistenciesEnter production data and documentation into EpicorPerform routine maintenance on welding equipment and support continuous improvement effortsAt least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbolsKnowledge of aluminum grades and welding requirementsAbility to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, and liftingAbility to read, write, and follow work instructions in EnglishHigh school diploma required; technical or vocational training preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screenAbility to wear required PPE, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protectionEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
