What You'll Do as a TIG Welder:

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum components to produce high-quality, precise welds
• Prepare materials by cleaning and removing contaminants prior to welding
• Inspect aluminum materials and completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Set up and adjust welding equipment, including torch settings, gas flow, and amperage
• Execute various welding joint configurations based on engineering specifications
• Monitor production workflow and document production data and reports in systems
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient production and meet timelines
• Maintain welding tools and equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting

What You Need to Bring to the TIG Welder Role:

• Experience in TIG and MIG welding processes in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, especially on aluminum materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings
• Experience with different grades of aluminum and related welding requirements
• High school diploma required with technical training preferred
• Ability to perform basic math for measurements, reporting, and material tracking
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical tasks such as standing and bending
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English and follow safety and PPE requirements
