Production Scheduler

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Production Scheduler for a manufacturing client in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This direct-hire position is responsible for coordinating production schedules to support efficient workflow, on-time order completion, and optimal use of equipment and labor. The role works closely with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, labor, and material availability.
• Sequence and prioritize production orders to maximize equipment efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address downtime, staffing changes, rush orders, and other production issues.
• Maintain accurate scheduling information within the ERP/MRP system and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Maintenance to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available.
• Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to increase throughput, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, demand forecasting, inventory control, and lead-time management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
