Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor

Job Description

Ingenium Talent is partnering with a large, nationally recognized organization headquartered in Louisville to identify a strong Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor . This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements while providing leadership within the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Lead the month‑end and year‑end close processes

\n

• Manage and maintain the general ledger

\n

• Oversee fixed asset accounting and related reporting

\n

• Prepare and analyze financial statements

\n

• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors

\n

• Maintain and enhance internal control systems and procedures

\n

• Supervise, develop, and mentor accounting staff

\n

• Drive process improvements and support ad‑hoc projects

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

\n

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office

\n

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking

\n

• Proven ability to lead, supervise, and mentor accounting professionals
