\n \n \nphoenix Pro Connect is conducting a confidential search for two experienced Senior Accountants to join an established and growing real estate development organization in Miami.
\n \n \nAbout the Role
\n \n \nWe are seeking accounting professionals with strong technical accounting skills, construction or real estate experience, and the ability to take ownership of complex financial activities. This opportunity offers significant visibility, expanded responsibilities, and excellent potential for accelerated career growth.
\n \n \nResponsibilities
\n \n \n- \n
- Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, month-end close, and account reconciliations. \n
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. \n
- Oversee accounting activities across multiple construction and development projects. \n
- Prepare and reconcile construction draws, project expenditures, and budgets. \n
- Handle payroll accounting, payroll reconciliations, and expense allocations. \n
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and cash application. \n
- Monitor job costs, contracts, change orders, vendor payments, and project commitments. \n
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, audits, and project closeouts. \n
- Collaborate with development, construction, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. \n
Qualifications
\n \n \n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. \n
Required Skills
\n \n \n- \n
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. \n
- Strong technical accounting background, including GL, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations. \n
- Experience in construction, real estate development, or project-based accounting strongly preferred. \n
- Knowledge of job costing, construction draws, project budgeting, and cost tracking. \n
- Experience with payroll reconciliations, AR, and collections highly valued. \n
- Yardi Voyager experience required. \n
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. \n
