Role: Senior REIT Accountant
\nFirm: Public REIT
\nLocation: NYC
\n \nResponsibilities Include:
\n- \n
- Manage accounts payable, cash positions, partner distributions \n
- Prepare and maintain accounting ledgers, loan tape, and perform bank reconciliations \n
- Support investor reporting and distribution models \n
- Prepare financial reporting packages for various joint ventures \n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n- \n
- 2-5 years of experience in an accounting/finance/operations role \n
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting for funds and management companies \n
- SEC Reporting experience preferred but not required \n
- Experience with Yardi/MRI preferred \n
