As a Market Attendant, you'll play an important role in making sure the market is clean, stocked, organized, fresh, and ready for customers. You'll greet customers, assist with kiosk transactions when needed, restock products, monitor freshness, maintain cleanliness, assist with deliveries, and perform light food preparation. This is a hands-on position where you'll be visible to customers and play an important role in representing APEX at the account. What You'll Do Create a Great Customer Experience Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service Answer customer questions and provide assistance when needed Assist customers with kiosk transactions and troubleshoot basic issues Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere Listen to customer needs and communicate concerns to management Build positive relationships with customers and client employees Represent APEX with a professional and positive attitude Keep the Market Stocked & Organized Restock snacks, beverages, meals, and other market products Make sure products are organized and attractively displayed Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs Rotate products according to established procedures Check product dates and freshness Remove damaged, expired, or compromised products Keep displays, shelves, coolers, and storage areas organized Maintain a Clean & Welcoming Market Cleanliness is an important part of the customer experience. Keep the market clean, neat, and well-presented throughout the day Maintain clean checkout and front-of-house areas Clean tables, counters, shelves, coolers, and other market surfaces Empty trash and maintain a clean environment Clean up spills and address safety concerns immediately Follow APEX standards for cleanliness and appearance Support Food Preparation Assist with light food preparation as needed Follow recipes, preparation instructions, and established procedures Properly portion and package food products Label and date food items according to APEX procedures Maintain proper food temperatures and storage Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries Move products safely to the appropriate storage or market areas Check deliveries for accuracy and product condition Stock products promptly after deliveries Communicate shortages, damaged products, or inventory concerns to leadership Keep Things Safe & Compliant Follow all APEX food safety and sanitation procedures Follow proper food handling and storage practices Maintain appropriate food temperatures Use equipment safely and as trained Report safety hazards, spills, damaged equipment, or other concerns Maintain a market environment that is safe for customers and employees Be Part of the Team Communicate effectively with managers, coworkers, customers, and client contacts Work independently while staying connected with the team Help with other duties as needed to keep the operation running smoothly Be dependable, punctual, and ready to help Take pride in your work and the appearance of the market Bring a positive attitude to work every day Requirements What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and takes pride in creating a great customer experience. Physical & Work Environment Requirements This is an active, hands-on position in a busy corporate micro market environment.
