Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic will work at our Monroe, NC location. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and components while contributing to engineering projects and ensuring a safe work environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve mechanical equipment and components. Use the maintenance management software to identify equipment problems, request parts, document findings, track labor hours and materials, and capture repair history. Participate in the development and coordination of engineering projects—including design, procurement, installation, and modification of new and existing equipment. Perform visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and testing of incoming materials based on inspection plans, workmanship standards, technical drawings, and test methods. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one (1+) year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional Qualifications (helpful): Associate’s degree in an engineering‑related field (e.g., Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Robotics & Automation). Experience with reliability analysis, predictive maintenance (PdM), and preventive maintenance (PM). High level of understanding and use of analytical tools for troubleshooting. Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings. Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying technical information to a diverse audience. Testing All candidates must successfully complete 3M’s Maintenance Battery test. Work Location Monroe, NC. Travel: None.
