Seeking a Level IV NICU trained RT who is open to working on the adult floor and in ICU. The position includes working nights with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts. First-timers are accepted for this role. Weekend shifts may be required as needed by the unit. National certifications such as RRT are required. BLS certification is necessary to apply. On-call duties are not required, but floating within the hospital may occur. Locals are accepted for this position. Candidates must have experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports. Special procedures include working with advanced equipment and critical care situations. Patient age groups range from neonates to adults. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment, including patients requiring ECMO and various ventilation systems. Experience with NAVA, high-frequency oscillators, and jet ventilators is highly preferred. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various healthcare teams. The daily census is expected to be between 10-15 patients. The unit specializes in accommodating complex patient diagnoses. Candidates should be prepared to manage high-pressure situations effectively. Overall, the position requires a well-rounded clinician experienced in both NICU and adult critical care settings.
