What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality care for post-op cardiac, transplant, and general surgical ICU patients
• Monitor patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and CVICU care protocols
• Assist with continuous renal replacement therapy and other interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to float requirements across ICU and stepdown units as needed
• Document patient progress accurately in EPIC system
• Follow all safety and compliance standards in a high-acuity environment

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN license or multi-state license accepted
• A minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Expertise with post-op cardiac and transplant care
• Skills in managing PA catheters, balloon pumps, and renal therapy
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
• Prior employment in high-acuity ICU settings
• Comfort with emergency response and flexible assignment protocols
