What’s a typical day as Assembler - Placement? You’ll be:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and measuring devices to ensure precise assembly of railroad tracks and turnouts
• Operating overhead cranes, forklifts, impact tools, grinders, torque machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Using hand tools such as sledgehammers for extended periods
• Maintaining quality and production standards while keeping a clean and safe work area
• Reporting to the Assembly Department Supervisor and collaborating with team members to achieve departmental goals

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School diploma or GED (required)
• Possess at least 1 year of manufacturing experience (required)
• Are able to read a tape measure accurately to the 32nd of an inch and interpret basic blueprints or drawings
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and reliable attendance
• Can work Monday through Friday with overtime as needed
• Are capable of performing heavy manual labor and working outside in various climates
