As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Market Application Specialist to join our team.You will be responsible for the activities in the R&D Agriculture program and provide technical support to customers.What You’ll Be Doing:Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter. Responsible for maintaining quality standards in the department.· Provide high level technical support to agriculture customers in a defined application area, involving customer visiting and carrying out experimental programs.· Assume position of key technical lead and specified customers. Build relationships with key technical decision makers and influencers to persuade customers to include Croda products in their approval programs.· Be recognized as an authority in a defined market/product area. Promote Croda’s image through presentations at trade exhibitions and conferences.· Provide product support and guidance to customers according to the regional and global development plans. Develop solutions to the customer problems which are sometimes complex and not always with a complete data set.· Provide training to the sales team, agents, and customers.· Coach and develop staff through effective use of performance management techniques.· Allocate short- and medium-term projects (from a few days to more than one year) to self and other members of the team. · Plan, run, and monitor progress on all projects to deliver results on time. · Have a creative and viable approach to support new product launches and existing product ranges, including development of new test methodologies, and creation of novel finished formulations for promotional means.· Identify opportunities for new projects.· Enhanced knowledge of market areas and relevant scientific techniques and communication with the business as appropriate.Who We’re Looking For:At Croda, we believe our people are the heart of our success.
